ELECTRIC CIRCUIT
Electric Circuit is a one-of-a-kind catalogue, designed for electricians and tradespeople who have an insatiable appreciation for design and aesthetics within the industry. The catalogue brings important and relevant information with well-considered design, allowing the readers to romanticise their life-styles in the trades.
The intention of this work was to create a cover design the first issue. My idea was to seamlessly bring the tangible nature of tradespeople to an evocative design.
Through photography, I brought everyday objects to the digital space, bringing them back to life through contrast, colour, and composition.
Using a deep rich background and bright almost fluorescent colour I wanted it to feel as though those objects were protruding out, hence connecting with their tangible nature.
